S is for Snow Cones

We went to movie night at church and saw Ratatoille. Michael had so much fun and sugar!! He had Snow Cones, Cotton Candy, Soda and Popcorn. Yes, I dressed him in a white shirt!! Oops!

Joseph got into the game cabinet, (pretty hard to open) then he got out Michael's favorite game, memory, and he had the cards everwhere!!

4th of July

We had a blast at our church's annual Fourth of July picnic! Yes, that was me standing in line with my 4 year old for the big kid slide!! Notice the other kids are so much bigger than Michael. That didn't seem to discourage him. All of us had fun even though it was hot!!

Palm Springs Aerial Tram

We took a week off and went to the desert to vacate. It was really nice to be close to home, but still far from everyday life. We made a special trek to the Palm Springs Aerial Tram and Michael loved going up, up, up!! It was alot of fun and I'm so glad my cousin, Erik, from missouri came along with us. Once at the top, I sat with baby Joseph while the big boys went for a hike.

We had a great time having everyone over to celebrate Michael's 4th Bday. It was the first time we really got use of our new back yard. Uncle Ben and Aunt Raquel brought Michael the life size Spidey pinata. It was too funny when spidey's legs got taken off during the hitting of the pinata!! You have to see the video below!

I try to make Michael his favorite food for his birthday, so we had hot dogs and broccoli. Not really, but we did have a hot dog bar where you could decide if you like a Long Island dog, a Chicago dog, a California dog, or a little of all toppings. It was a hit, so maybe we will do it again.

Beach Day on Michael's 4th Birthday!

Michael's 4th birthday was on a wednesday this year. We had a party that weekend, but we wanted to spend some family time together while going to one of our favorite places - the beach!! We were there for about 5 hours and while it wasn't the best picture beach trip, it was so much fun watching Michael discover and play. He sure kept Daddy busy with all of his curiosity.
